Golf Course Ranger
A leading golf club in Sydney's eastern suburbs is seeking to appoint a course ranger to patrol and monitor play on the golf course.
Location Rose, NSW, Australia
This position reports to the Director of Golf who has the responsibility of ensuring that key facets of play, such as pace of play and etiquette are observed at all times.
The successful applicant will have had previous experience in a Golf Club environment through either play or work experience.
This position is suited to a mature minded person who, through their polite and professional approach, can monitor the flow and pace play on the course, and implement procedures aimed at combating slow play.
Key responsibilities will include:
Monitoring the flow and pace of play on the course
Implementing procedures to combat slow play and taking action against slow players
Monitoring dress code, mobile phone usage and access to course
Reporting observations to management
Being a member of the Medical Emergency Response Team
You will need to be reliable, honest, self motivated, friendly and approachable.
It is extremely important in this role that your style of communication is respectful and effective in dealing with members and their guests in relation to the Clubs rules and policies.
