The SANFL is the premier State League and governing body for Australian Rules Football in South Australia. The Role
The Inclusive Programs Coordinator is responsible for promoting the game of Australian Football to female, multicultural and people with disabilities as well as their families.
The priority is to develop, coordinate and facilitate opportunities to engage these diverse communities to broaden the participation and fan base of Australian Football in South Australia. This will include direct program delivery and will require the Coordinator to work closely with school staff, young people and parents, community organisations and SANFL clubs to implement specific programs.
The Role Requirements
To be successful in this role, the candidate will demonstrate:
experience in working with people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds, schools and community, government or sporting organisations providing services to CALD communities
experience in the delivery of sport and recreation or community development programs
the ability to identify opportunities for game growth and implement related projects and programs
The position will suit candidates with a sporting background and a tertiary qualification in a related field.
